Lee Hedge, age 82, of Pittsboro, died Saturday night at his home after an illness of two weeks. Born near Jamestown in 1868, he was a retired farmer in that community.
Survivors include the widow, Mary, one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Gentry, and one son, Frank, all of Pittsboro. He is also survived by one grandson and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Gregory Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. James I. Shockley. Burial was in the Lizton K. of P. cemetery.
