Mabel Hedge Gentry, 95, of Pittsboro, died Sept. 10, 1994 at Brownsburg Health Care. She was born in 1898 to Lee and Mary Embree Hedge. She married Herschel A. Gentry Sr. in 1930, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Gentry was a member of the Pittsboro Christian Church.
Survivors include: a son, Herschel A. Gentry, Jr.; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sept. 13 at the David A. Hall Mortuary in Pittsboro. Burial was at the K of P Cemetery in Lizton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pittsboro Christian Church.
