Wilford A. Bingham
CLINTON, Davis county-Wilford Albertus Bingham, 64, Clinton, died in an Ogden hospital at seven forty-five a.m. today after a long illness.
He was born May 23, 1885, in Wilson, Weber county, a son of Elisha Gates and Emma A. Bonnerau Bingham.
On Dec. 10, 1905, he married Martha Patterson Bingham in Ogden.
For the past 42 years he had been a resident of Clinton, where he engaged in farming. He assisted in construction and cementing of the first water canal in the are and was interested in hunting and fishing.
A member of L.D.S. Clinton ward, he was a ward teacher and active in the M.I.A.
Surviving are his widow and the following sons and daughters; Angus H. Bingham, Mendon, Cache county; Arvil P. Bingham, Ogden; Carl W. Bingham, Sunset; Alexander and C. Earl Bingham and Mrs. Irene Glines, and Mrs. Vivenne A. Birch, Washington Terrace; Eugene P. Bingham, Arnold T. Bingham and Donna D. Bingham, Clinton; Mrs. Blanch F. Parker and Mrs. Ruth B. Shulz, Roy; Mrs. Gladys L Rayburn, Pacific Grove, Calif.; also 30 grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters; Elisha Bingham, Los Angeles; Leonard Bingham, Salt Lake City; Frank Bingham, Farr West; Elmer Bingham, Rexburg, Ida.; Mrs. Dellila Robinson, Farmington, and Mrs. Araminta Barnes, Peterson, Morgan county.
Services will be conducted Friday at one p.m. at the mortuary, 3408 Washington, Ogden, by Bishop Myron B. Child of Clinton ward. Burial will be in Ogden city cemetery.
