On Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, Vivienne Bingham Birch passed away in Yuma, Arizona. Born Dec. 16, 1925, the 14th of 16 children, to Wilford and Martha Patterson Bingham. Vivienne learned at an early age the ability to work hard, cooperation and seeing things through. On Oct. 23, 1942, she married the love of her life, Mark L. Birch, and they raised four children, Barbara, Cheryl, Robyn and Brad. She loved and was loved by her family and was always there to help anyone in need. She was the center of our lives and we'll miss her. Vivienne is survived by her husband Mark, children Barbara "Bobbie" Schreck, Ogden, Utah; Cheryl (Craig) Kendall, Sandy, Utah; Robyn (Bobby) Lemos, Chandler, AZ and Bradley (Pam) Birch, Sandy, UT; brother Gene Bingham of Roy, Utah; two sisters, Ruth Schulz, Roy, Utah and Donna Olsen, Salt Lake City, Utah; seven grandchildren, seven great-grand-children, sisters and brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers, four sisters, many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, son-in-law Jim Poulos and daughter-in-law Christine Birch. "Viv' and Mark were "snowbirds", spending six months in their Sandy, Utah home and six months in their Yuma, Arizona home. They had done a lot of traveling but had spent most of the past 15 winters in Yuma, where they were at the time of her death. She was cremated in Yuma and will be interred in Sandy, Utah at a later date. At her request, there will be no services.
