Mrs Temple Wax Bowman,widow of the late Roscoe Bowman,passed away at the Community Hospital Tuesday,August 8,1950, at the age of 70 years. Mrs Bowman suffered a stroke at her home near the Tompkisville City limits on August 2,from which she never recovered. She lived alone near the home of her sister, Mrs Della Tooley.Mrs Bowman is survived by three sisters, the above named,Mrs. Evie McPherson,route 3,and Mrs. Winnie Strickler,Jacksonville, Ill.;four brothers are Willie Wax,Tompkinsville;George Wax,Newman,Ill.,and Henry Wax,New Berlin,Ill., Joe Wax,Vinton, Iowa. Burial was in Old Mt. Hermon cemetery Wednesday afternoon after funeral services coducted by Rev. Raymond Jones.
