Dies Following Illness

Following a long illness, Mrs. Agnes Dumford(sic), 79, died Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl J. Klingel, 2000 Sanderson Ave.

Born in England, she came to this country when a young girl and resided in Peckville 50 years before moving to the home of her daughter six months ago. Mrs. Dumford was a member of Peckville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. She was a daughter of the Late John S. and Mary Ann Williams.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. A. E. Savino, Wilkes-Barre; a sister, Mrs. Anna Walker, Towanda, Pa.; two brothers, William Williams, Blakely, and James Williams, Clark's Summit; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be this afternoon at 2:30 from the Kinback Funeral Home, River and Erie streets, Peckville. Rev. Henry F. Powell, Peckville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, will officiate. Interment, Prospect Hill Cemetery, Peckville.
