Patricia Ann Ashley, was born July 31, 1960 in Cheneyville, LA to the late James Levi Johnson, Sr. and Rosa Lee Johnson, She departed this life July 19, 2020 at her home.
She accepted Christ at a early age and was baptized at an early age by Rev. Humphrey at Second Edgefield Baptist Church. Cheneyville, Louisiana. She later became a proud and faithful member of Beulah Baptist Church and remained faithful serving as President of the Deaconess and Pastor’s Aide. She was a strong, loving God fearing Woman of God!!! Trisha’s Faith in God was so strong, in the midst of what we thought to be her darkest moments she told God, Well Lord I, Thank You for that news.”
Patricia had 4 handsome sons. She lived a full and vibrant life. Her presence filled the room with Love!
Patricia was employed at Pinecrest Supports and Services.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Demple Jean Johnson Young, Ella Mae Johnson Beechem.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories, her four sons Anthony Ray Veal, Sr. (Amanda) Lafayette, LA, Lonnie Ray Veal, Jr. (Ja’Von) Alexandria, LA, Byron Ray Veal, Oklahoma, Kevin Veal, Alexandria, LA. Ten grand children Anthony, Jr., Deion, Derrick, Taranika, Byron, Jr., Ja’Lyn, Ja’Laya, Ja’Kyiah, Branson, and Sylus, one sister Rosa Deal (Roosevelt) Lecompte, LA, three brothers James Johnson, Jr. (Linda) Alexandria, LA, Roy Johnson (Yalonda) Houston, Tx., Lionell Johnson (Alexandria, LA); a very special friend Twanna Wheeler and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Beulah Baptist Church, Lecompte, LA. Interment will be held in First Edgefield Cemetery, Cheneyville.
