WINONA. October 11. The remains of Mrs. Hale Thomas, who was Miss Fannie Turner, were brought here today from Asheville, N. C-. where she has been for several months in the interest of her health. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Carroll Varner at the Methodist church, after, which the remains were Interred in the Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by a husband, a daughter, two sons, a sister, Miss Etta, and six brothers. Walter, Charle, Will D., Mead, Lay and Morty. She was reared here and was a member of one of the oldest and most esteemed families of this section.
