Elizabeth (Crowley) (Wood) Goodhue, age 87 , formerly of Huntington, CT, passed away March 17, 2016 in her home in Chesapeake, VA . Mrs. Goodhue was born in Bridgeport to the late Francis and Elizabeth Crowley. In her earlier years, she worked for Columbia Records, General Electric, American Chain and Cable, Barkers and Tetley Tea. She was predeceased by her first husband Peter Wood and her second husband Arthur Goodhue. Survivors include three children Sandra Rogers and her husband Donald of Chesapeake, VA, Gail Hughes of Oxford, CT and Peter D. Wood Jr. of Naugatuck, CT; one sister Ellen Parry of North Haven, CT and one brother Walter Crowley of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Betty's vibrant personality, love of family and great sense of humor will be cherished by friends and family always. Her deep faith sustains us all. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church 505 Shelton Ave. Huntington, CT. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
