Thomas “Tank” Norris Jr, 54 of Vivian, Louisiana passed away on August 1, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, LA officiated by Rev. Roy Strother, burial will follow at Plain Dealing Cemetery in Plain Dealing, LA. There will be a time of visitation before the service on Friday, at the funeral home from 10-11 AM.

Tank was born on December 6, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri to Martha and Thomas Norris Sr. He worked for KCS as a Hy-Rail maintenance supervisor. He loved to work on his Chevy Nova and loved drag racing. He enjoyed collecting Star Wars and Star Trek memorabilia. He loved his kids and grandkids very much.

Tank is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his 3 children, Ethan Norris and wife Maria of Blanchard, LA, Eric Norris of Vivian, LA, and Evan Norris of Shreveport, LA, his 2 sisters, Gayle Sanders and husband Billy of Shreveport, LA, and Amanda Alphonso and husband Leo of Folsom, LA. He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren, Tanner Norris and Izabella Norris.
