Clara is survived by her children; Barbara (James) Vargo, Louis, Patricia (Michael) Roehrick, Michael (LouAnn), Gail (Donald) Whitman, Paul (Marcy), John (Lynn), Matthew and Christopher (Roxanne). She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 57 years, Christopher Leo Zurn. Clara has 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Clara was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for 68 years and a member of Catholic Daughters and Christian Mothers. She worked as a Nurse Assistant at St. Ansgar’s Hospital and Eventide Nursing Home. She loved gardening, crocheting, cross stitch and reading but her first love was always her family. The semi-annual family reunions were her favorite. Seeing her family all together always filled her heart with laughter and joy.
A funeral service for family and friends will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Moorhead on Friday, June 26th with visitation at 10:00 and the funeral mass at 11:00 followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Callaway, MN. Face masks are highly encouraged at the church.
