STEPHEN AICH
Stephen Aich, 92, Hyattsville, Md., formerly of Salina, died at 3 am Wednesday.
A retired Union Pacific Railroad engineer, Mr. Aich lived in Salina 50 years. He came here from Ellis in 1906.
After the death of his wife, Ana, April 11, 1955, Mr. Aich lived with his daughter, Mrs. Roy Danielson, Hyattsville.
Mr. Aich was born Jan 10, 1864, in Indiana. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Union Pacific Old-timers Club.
Surviving besides the daughter, are three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Guy R. Ryan Sons Mortuary, the Rev. Walter Moeller officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery, New Cambria.
