Mrs. Swallow died Friday in a Topeka hospital.
She was born Dec. 13, 1902, in a family farm home south of Stull and attended the Yarnold rural school. Mrs. Swallow lived all her life in the Stull, Lecompton and Tecumseh communities and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Stull.
She married Vern Swallow on April 4, 1928, in Leavenworth. He died in 1983.
The family suggests memorials to Stull United Methodist Church or Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Becker, Osborne; a son, Alvin L. Swallow, Tecumseh; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
