John Adcocke was born about 1568-1572. He married Elizabeth Eldred on October 7, 1593, in Attleborough, Norfolk, England. He died in early December 1638, the same year that his two daughters Julian (wife of John Sutton) and Neele (wife of Stephen Paine) emigrated to America on the ship Diligent. HIs wife Elizabeth died between June and September of the same year.
John was buried in Great Ellingham on Dec. 10, 1638, presumably in St. James Churchyard.
