Born in Lincoln County, NC on February 2, 1926, daughter of the late Lannie Arlandus Willis (1898–1979) and Hattie Minnie Rosalee Costner Willis (1902–1995).
Retired from Kiser Roth Hosiery and was a member of Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Elbert Clyde Cook; son, Arnold Cook (Carolyn); grandson, Aaron Cook; sister, Nell Willis Yarbro; and a brother, C.W. Willis.
Also preceded in death by brothers, Dwight Harden Willis (1920–2001), Irdell Willis (1924–2009), A. R. Willis (1927–1975), and L. A. Willis (1930–2016); and sisters, Pearl Willis Sigmon (1921–2014), Lois Mae Willis Benfield (1933–2018), and Muriel Willis Sain (1923-2019).
