Miss Helen Elizabeth Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Morgan Adams (Anna Nelson), of Buffalo, Iowa, and Thomas William O'Brien, son of Mr. and Mrs, Patrick O'Brien, of Chicago, were married Sunday afternoon, October 2, 1936, in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Chicago. Miss Marie Adams, sister of the bride, and John O'Brien, brother of the bridegroom, were their attendants. The bride wore a russet creole with gold accessories. She carried pompoms. A reception followed in the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Xelson. Mrs. O'Brien is a graduate of the Buffalo school and Mr. O'Brien is of Catholic College, Niagara Falls. He is employed by Illinois Central and their new home will be in Chicago.
