Anna Catherine Stuckleburg was born on March 27, 1891 on a farm in Lizard Township, Pachahontas county Iowa. Henry C Kenning and Anna were married in Sept 1909 and raised six children. Francena, Henry, Irene, Lawrence, Donald, and Lenoard. Anna was raised on the family farm and attended rurals schools. She was a loving wife and mother. She was gifted lady , who loved to paint pictures, play the piano. She had a love for flowers. Her dining room window was filled with violets all year round. A fond memory I have of her is when she made Easter baskets from butter boxes and colored eggs for the grandchildren to find.
By age 68 Grandma had made 110 quilts as documented in the Pomeroy newspaper Nov 1968. Grandma is pictured with many of her quilts. She is greatly missed by all her family and all her Grand kids
