The Fonda Times - Thursday , October 20th, 1921 - The body of Frank Steckelberg, who was killed in the battle of the Argonne, will arrive from France, Friday. The funeral will be held on Sunday, October 16th, at two o'clock at the house if the weather permits, if not the funeral will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Frank Steckelberg was one of the finest of all the boys who marched away with that great army that crossed over to France. The people of Manson and the American Legion boys are proud to do the memory of such as he.
