Judy Lynn Beck, 54, one of the world's true angels, was called on by the Lord Aug. 18, 2008 to join him as one of his precious angels in Heaven. Judy was born Jan. 31, 1954, in Sonora, Ky., to Otis and Audrey Ramsey.
Judy was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She met the love of her life, Patrick Beck Sr. while in Kentucky, and shortly after, they married and moved to Port Lavaca where they started their family.
After raising her three sons, Judy then dedicated her life to her grandchildren. Through the toughest of times, Judy always had a smile and a helping hand. Judy had a way of always making things better for her loved ones, her friends, and anyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey; her father, Otis; and her two sisters, Adriane and Edith.
Her memory will live on through her children Patrick "Bubba" Jr., Chris, Jesse, and their wives; her grandchildren, Kayla, Brenden, Derek, Sean, Nathanael, EmmaLeigh Beck.
Judy's family was her life. She lived all her days protecting, teaching, and providing for her children.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today, Aug. 19, 2008, with a rosary at 7 p.m., at Artero Memorial Chapels in Port Lavaca. Funeral services for Judy will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 Artero Memorial Chapels in Port Lavaca, the Rev. Tony Wishert officiating.
