Harold R. (Bozo) Schwartz, 73, of 871 S. Main St., Fond du Lac, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002, at his home.
He was born on May 21, 1929, in Byron, a son of Lawrence and Marcella Schoofs Schwartz.
On May 16, 1953, he married Kathryn Imogene Kelly at St. John's Catholic Church in Bryon.
He was a graduate of Goodrich High School.
Me worked for International Paper Inc., of Fond du Lac, and retired from Northern Aluminum in North Fond du Lac.
Harold was a member of Sons of Zebedee Catholic Church in Byron, the Eagles Club and Knights of Columbus, Auxiliary 664.
Survivors include one son, Michael of Port Royal, S.C.; one daughter, Maureen (Scott) Kennedy of Rosendale; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Katie and Stephanie Kennedy; one brother, Larry (Lorraine) Schwartz of Thomaston, Conn.; and two sisters, MaryLou (Harry) Geiger of Eden and Susan (William) Nitzke of Cottage Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Kathryn.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, at Sons of Zebedee Church in Byron, with the Rev. Roger Savage officiating. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Byron.
Visitation: From 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Kietzer Funeral Home of Lomira is assisting the family.
