George Thomas Rainey, 65, of Ellisville, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his home. Services will be Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Moore Hattiesburg Chapel followed by burial in Union Cemetery.
Mr. Rainey was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E.T. and Nina Rainey and one sister, Tressie Hall.
He is survived by two sisters, Nancy Rainey and Pattie Rainey, both of Ellisville; one brother-in-law, Mike “Sonny” Hall of Ellisville; one niece, Carol (Tony) Neely of Ellisville; one nephew, Michael (Jenell) Hall of Moselle; four great nieces, Beverly Hall of Moselle and Nicole Hall of Moselle, Aislyn Neely of Ellisville, and Elisha Gourley of Cordova, TN; five great nephews, Coby (Nicole) Stewart of Seminary, Caleb (Taylor) Stewart of Ellisville, Anthony (Jessi) Neely of Culleoka, TN, Roger (Grace) Neely of Petal, and Jamie (Kayla) Wooten; six great-great nieces, Rayne Stewart, Jewel Neely, Haven Neely, Jamatha Wooten, Kelsey Wooten, and Zarah Gourley; and three great-great nephews, Dalton Gourley, Aaron Neely, and William Wooten.
Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2020 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
