Stanley Eugene King, age 72, passed away peacefully July 17, 2020. He was born to Glenn and Frances King on October 2, 1947 in Noblesville, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Frances King.

Stanley is survived by his children; daughter, Daphne (Vernon) Braswell of Cabot; three sons, Daniel (OBrien) King of Midloathian, Texas; Joseph (Nicole) King of Rogers and Dave (Kathy) Absher of Noblesville, Indiana; fourteen grandchildren, Jessica and Shelby Braswell, Alexandria and Orvil (Cat) Ruvalcaba, Kendell and Tyler King, Isabelle and Olivia King, Jeffrey, Jackie, Bailey, Hank and Dillon Absher and Mackenzie and Peyton Bragg; ten great-grandchildren, Roman and Everleigh Shoup, Spencer, Presley and Reid Bragg and five additional; one great-great grandchild Olivia Grace Ruvalcaba; two sisters, Carol King and Debbie Woodward; and one brother, Dennis King.

Stanley proudly served our country as a Meteorologist in the USAF until 1997 when he was honorably discharged. He received several military honors while enlisted. In the years that followed he attended UALR, studying Entrepreneurial Management and Philosophy, graduating with the class of 2010. His love of meteorology eventually led him to a career as a Weather Observer for the Clinton National Airport.

Stanley and his wife Mary, whom he called the love of his life, met while they were both stationed in Hawaii. With her by his side they raised three beautiful children who often reminded him of himself. He was never afraid to say that their stubbornness was something they came by honestly. It was very important to him that he be an active member in the lives of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The smiles created were always mutual. He was a strong, sturdy shoulder, a soft heart and just enough tough to help instill a sense of independence in life. He left behind the best values and examples of how to view life. For all that he was he will be greatly missed but remembered with the fondest memories always.
