Born in Giles County on November 22, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Giles and Annie Martin Bailey.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Coy Carter.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Justin Carter and wife Carrie of Ripplemead, and Mason Dennis and wife Tena of Ripplemead; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be a funeral service held Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Kendall officiating. A graveside service will follow at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA. The family will receive friends and family at Kendall Funeral Home Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
