Adeline Edwards Poe, 92, of Sheridan died Tuesday at Saline Memorial Hospital at Benton.
Born April 6, 1914, at Sheridan, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Virginia Crutchfield Edwards.
She was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of the Corinth Home Demonstration Club.
She was a housekeeper for the Posey Hotel and retired from West Bend.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Poe and Phillip Poe, both of Sheridan, and Earl Poe of Malvern; seven daughters, Virginia Halbert, Mildred Felts and Phyllis Taylor, all of Sheridan, Alice Brockway of Ward, Ione Laughlin of Memphis, Margaret Hurst of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Cindy Dawson of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Amanda Fitzgerald of Sheridan; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Wyatt A. "Bye" Poe on April 24, 1994.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral of Sheridan with Gayle Umholtz and Derrell Harris officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery.
