The daughter of Joseph G. and May (Murphy) Simmons and widow of Edward Wilcox Huber, Lily resided on West Walnut Street and was a former upholsterer and curtain maker. She died at Norton Memorial Infirmary of heart disease, and following funeral services at the Cathedral of the Assumption, was interred at St Louis on 29 January 1965.
