Son of the late Salvatore and Ursula (Ruffalo) Conforti. On December 10, 1942, he entered the United States Army 13th Air Borne Division, during World War II. He was a machine gunner serving in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Service Medal with 1 bronze star, the Good Conduct Medal, The American Theater Ribbon and the World War II Victory Medal. He was honorably discharged on December 19, 1945.

On April 19, 1941, he married Laura Braund in Kenosha. She passed away February 4, 1980.
For 40 years he was employed at the Frost Company. He also worked part-time as a bartender at Molinaro's, Mr. Z's and Elmers in Kenosha for over 50 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Frost Company Union and a life member of the V.F.W. Junker Ball Post 1865. He loved to work in the sunshine in his yard and an avid Green Bay Packer Fan.
Surviving are his daughter, Judy L. DelFrate of Kenosha; two brothers, John and Leo Conforti, both of Kenosha; two sisters, Lucy Kausalik of Kenosha and Margaret Boardwine of Orland Park, IL; four grandchildren, Deena (Danny) Gervais, Dennis DelFrate, Joseph DelFrate, Lisa (Steven) Houte; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Angelo, Louie, Joseph, Michael, and Frank; three sisters, Isabelle, Margaret and Theresa Puckett; and also a sister in infancy
