MRS. ANNIE L. GRIFFIN - A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama died at her home May 31, 1988. She was a longtime seamstress and tailor. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted family: daughter and son-in-law, Willie Mae and Robert W. Buck, Jr.; two grandchildren, Robert W. (Stacy) Buck III of Mobile and Mrs. Diane Buck (Richard) Briscoe, Tampa, Florida; four great-grandchildren, Robert IV, Adrian, Bryant Buck and Jill Briscoe; five brothers-in-law, Wilmer, Wesley and Rev. Willie Griffin, Rev. Archie and Michael Wilson; one niece, Connie Maxine Moore; two nephews, Lebaron and Walter J. Moore; one devoted nephew, Willie B. Griffin; a host of friends and attentive neighbors among them, Sarah Packer, Eugene Rivers and Catherine Pettaway.
Visitation will be held at the Truevine Missionary Baptist Church 1350 Pecan St., Friday, June 3, 1988, after 5 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the church Saturday, June 4, 1988 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Howard Johnson, Pastor and officiating minister. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, 201 N. Hamilton St. Mobile, Alabama
