Brittany N. Christy, age 21, of Edwards passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born on March 8, 1986, in Peoria to Charles and Ronette Taghon Christy.
Brittany was a graduate of Brimfield High School and received her CNA certificate from Illinois Central College.
Brittany was currently employed at PALS Preschool in administration.
She is survived by her parents, Ronette (Mark) Krusa of Brimfield and Charles Christy of Brimfield; her great-grandmother, Margaret Aldrich of Chillicothe; her maternal grandparents, Edward and Jeanean Taghon of Dunlap; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Sandra Christy of Brimfield; her three brothers, Bryan Christy, Jordan Krusa and Jacob Krusa, all of Brimfield; and her boyfriend, Dan Rogers.
Brittany was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, her maternal great-grandparents and a great-aunt.
Interment will be in Brimfield Cemetery.
