Elna Josephine (Morse-Roby) Biggs, 93, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007. She was born March 20, 1914, in Duston, Okla., to Bailey and Alvin Brown Morse.

Mrs. Biggs worked for Heldt Bros. in Alice for many years and Perry Bros. in Cuero for 22 years. She was a rancher in DeWitt County and a member of Eastern Star in Alice and Cuero. She served as matron in the Alice chapter. She was also a member of the Guilter's Guild, Five-Mile EE Club, and Kopy Kates. Mrs. Biggs was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Judy Raglin of Cuero; Sandy Roby of Cuero, and Debra Kegely of Yorktown; brothers, Jerry Morse of Austin and Charles Morse of Gainesboro, Tenn; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Genieve Brunston and Peggy Jay; brothers, Bert Morse and Bill Morse; son, Weldon Roby; and grandson, Dale Roby.

Visitation will be 630-8 p.m. today at Freund Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, 2007 at First Baptist Church, the Rev. Glenn Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Clinton Cemetery.

Pallbearers Alan Roby, Justin Roby, Shawn Raglin, Mickel Hendrick, Ronnie Hendrick, Tek Roby, Shannon Hendrick, and Bill Hendrick.

Honorary pallbearers Buster Raglin, Cecil Kegley, James Jay, and John Jay.
