Born in Ti, Oklahoma, he was the son of James Monroe and Emmie May (Watts) Sensibaugh. He married Fannie I. Frakes on Jan. 13, 1951, in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 180 Plunkett-Hancock of Hartshorne. A resident of Haileyville, he died in McAlester at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and one sister.
