James Irwin, age 87, of Aston, PA, died Sunday, June 7, 2020 peacefully at home with his loving family. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Jim was employed with GE for 23 years, Stone & Webster and then retired from United Engineers in 1997. He was a longtime parishioner of the Church of St. Joseph in Aston. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He was a wonderful, generous husband and father who was devoted to his family.

Jim was preceded in death by his brothers Robert "Butch" Irwin and Joseph Irwin and his sister Elizabeth Breen. Survivors are his loving wife of 63 years Lorraine Doran Irwin, his daughters Linda (Peter) Monzo, Diane (Dan) Doyle, Marie (Jeff) Kaminsky, his brother Thomas Irwin, and his sister Maryellen Watson.

Visitation: 9am June 11, 2020 at The Church of St. Joseph, Aston, PA. Funeral Mass to follow at 10am at the church. Interment 11am at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Convent of Divine Love.
