Wayne F. Gregory, 97, of Indianapolis, passed away July 17, 2020. He was born September 19, 1922 in Corona, California to the late John E. and Julia Gregory. Wayne proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He married Shirley Wesner in 1952, and she preceded him in death February 25, 2010.
Wayne was employed as an Asset Recovery Administrator for Foremost Insurance for many years. After retiring, Wayne worked part-time for CVS and really enjoyed it.
Wayne was a longtime member of Lawrence United Methodist Church, a 60 year member of Millersville Masonic Lodge #126 F.&A.M., and a member of Scottish Rite.
Wayne is survived by his children, John W. Gregory (Mary) and Mary Beth Tuggle (Bill); grandchildren, David, Julia and Steven; daughter-in-law, Mindy Gregory; and other close family members, Caitlyn, Scott, Melissa and Chuck. A son, Robert F. Gregory; and Wayne’s second wife, Loretta R. Gregory, preceded him in death.
Funeral services are private and entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.
