Larry Joe Donahue, 67, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at CAMC in Charleston.

Born October 17, 1952, at Mullens, he was the son of the late Herndon and Ellen McKinney Donahue.

Joe was a graduate of Matoaka High School and a former coal miner and heavy equipment operator. He had worked for the Dean Company and Lynchburg Foundry. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, nature, and watching television.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Michael and Terry Donahue and Linda Burdette.

Survivors include his wife loving wife of 44 years, Diana Darnell Donahue; One daughter, Lindsay Redden; Three grandchildren, Paige and Dylan Redden and Shaelyn Donahue; Four siblings, Betty and Dennis Bailey, Mae Donahue, Jimmy and Wanda Donahue and Kenneth Donahue; Several nieces and nephews; Brother-in-law, Jackie Burdette; Sister-in-law, Regina Martin.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday, July 24, 2020, at the Reid Cemetery at Spanishburg. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery by service hour. Following his service, the family would like to invite everyone to Camp Creek State Park, at the Ballfield Shelter for a reception. The Donahue family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
