Christine Lewis, age 87, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020.
Mrs. Lewis was retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She attended Calvary Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary White Brantley; husband, Walter Harold Lewis; son, Little Walt Lewis; and siblings, Lewis Brantley, Harris Brantley, and Laverne Brantley.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Landrum (Jimbo), of Toomsboro, Cindy Lewis, of Dublin, Clay Lewis (Kim), of McIntyre, and Betty Holloway (Terry) and Lena Summerlin (Randy), both of Milledgeville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Brantley (Suzanne), of Waynesville, NC; sister, Margaret Botoni, of Hillord, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Lewis will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Wilkinson County. Rev. Billy Todd will officiate.
