Mr. Ballard was born October 12, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was strong and brave. He enjoyed building custom hot rods, working in his mechanic shop and providing for his family. He was a problem solver and known for his work ethic. He liked to crack jokes and create goofy nick names for everyone close to him. He loved his cars, dogs and family the most.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia; his wife, Sheryl; his siblings, Jeff and Michelle; his four children, Megan, Melissa, Ashley and Stephen; his two stepdaughters, Heather and Stephanie; and his eight grandchildren.
A viewing will be held, July 21, 2020 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. A burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
