A Memorial Service for Johnathan P. "Ted" Williams will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2003 in the chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville with the Revs. David Bryant and Angela Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Rush Funeral Home of Pineville.

Mr. Williams, 50, of Alexandria, died Wednesday, August 6, 2003 in Rapides Regional Medical Center.

He was a native of Pineville and a retired Merchant Marine, having traveled around the world three times.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father, James Williams and his brother, James G. Williams.

Survivors include his loving friend, Linda Keen of Pollock and his dog "Missy Bear"; one son, Johnathan Quinn Williams of Alexandria; mother, Evelyn Johnson Ellias of Alexandria; two brothers, Kenneth M. Williams and his wife, Mary Beth of Palestine, Texas, Ronald E. Williams and his wife, Peggy Jo of Kolin; three sisters, Brenda McGough and her husband Richard of Haile, Rita Jewell of Pineville and Sarah Dauzat and her husband, Jerry J. of Alexandria.

Friends may call Monday, August 11, 2003 from 5 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
