Wheelersburg - Edwin Raymond Andre, 66, of Dogwood Ridge, Wheelersburg Rt. 1 died at 8:10 p.m. Friday at Scioto Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for about a month.

A native of Lyra, he was a retired employee of Empire-Detroit Steel's blooming mill, and a member of United Steelworkers Union Local 2116 and Scioto Furnace Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife, Odessa Riddlebarger Andre; a son, Gary Andre. 1252 Fifth St., Portsmouth; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Chamberlain of Cincinnati, Mrs. Shelby Hughes of South Portsmouth, Ky., and Mrs. Judy Faulkner of Wheelersburg Rt. 4; a brother, Clifford Andre of Lyra; three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Haney, 1130 Preston St., Sciotodale, Mrs. Carrie Brown of Lyra and Mrs. John Williams of Indianapolis, Ind., and 10 grandchildren.

Rev. Harley Johnson and Rev. David Widdig are to conduct services at 2 p.m. Monday at Don Wolfe Funeral Home in Sciotoville, with burial at Vernon Cemetery.
