BONNER--Rites here Friday for Ernest Bonner
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Gass-Haney Funeral Chapel for Ernest Bonner, 86, who died Monday in Canby, Ore.
A resident here before moving to Canby 20 years ago, he farmed and was employed by Columbus Fuel and Storage.
The Rev. J. Graydon Wilson will officiate at the funeral, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects Friday at the chapel.
Son of the late James T. and Ida May Davidson Bonner, he was born Sept. 13, 1885 at Osceola.
He married Ethel Rinesmith on Oct. 22, 1907 and she died in 1949. His second wife, the former Verna Rinesmith, died in 1962.
Surviving are three sons, Harold of Salem, Ore.; Ervin of Columbus and Orlo of San Jose, Calif; two daughters, Evelyn Johnson of Hugo, Colo., and Gladys Preston of Harveyville (?), Kan.; 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, James T. of Helena, ___; three sisters, Anna ___, Portland, Ore. Ellen ____, Norfolk and Bessie A____, Loveland, Colo.
Two brothers, Walter ____ Lake City, Mahlon of Co____, and a sister, Hattie ___ Victorville, Calif., preceded him in death.
