Carl Joseph Lee Sr., Age 80, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly at his home Friday July 17th, 2020.
Carl was born in Petersville, Kentucky October 23, 1939 to the late Joseph and Blanche Miracle Lee. Carl worked for U.S. Shoe Corporation in Vanceburg for 42 years.
Carl was a member of the Vanceburg First Baptist Church, he loved to garden especially growing tomatoes, and go fishing. Carl also love to do woodworking in his spare time. He always worked very hard planning and organizing family dinners. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren who he thought the world of.
Left to cherished Carl’s memories is his wife of 25 years whom he married October 25, 1994 Sue Evans Lee of Vanceburg, Ky.; one daughter, Kelly (Cork) Spencer of West Portsmouth, Ohio.; one son, Eric (Luanne) Lee of Harrison, Ohio; three grandchildren, Aaron Spencer, Dylan Lee, and Devin Lee; and one sister, Mary Adams- Portsmouth, Ohio.
Preceded in death beside his parents was a son Carl J. (Cookie) Lee Jr. in 2004.
