Mrs. Sarah Jane Wright, 82, died suddenly yesterday morning at about 2:30 o'clock at the home of her son, Charles E. Calvin, northeast of the city. She suffered a stroke of paralysis about two years ago, but she was able to be up most of the time. She apparently was in her usual health Saturday but was taken ill during the night and called her son. A physician was summoned but she passed away before he reached the home.

Mrs. Wright was born on a farm east of the city and spent practically all her life in the county. For many years she lived in the Elizabethtown neighborhood, but for the past several years , she had made her home with her son. She was well known in the county and was a well liked woman. Funeral Services Tuesday.

She had been married twice. Surviving besides Mr. Calvin are another son and a daughter, John, of Louisville, and Mrs. Zoe Stephens, Michigan; two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Simon Snyder, of this city; Mrs. Rudolph Specht, northwest of the city, Joseph and Tom Sadler, northwest of the city.

Her death was the second in the family within a short time, a brother, Henry Sadler, of northwest of the city, having passed away at the county hospital here on Nov. 11.

The remains have been moved to the Hathaway funeral home where services will be held Tuesday after- noon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. H.E. Turney. Burial will be made in Garland Brook cemetery. The casket will be open from 6 o'clock tonight until time of funeral.
