Warren Jones was born on September 18, 1935, to the union of James and Georgia B. Jones in Louisville, Kentucky.Warren loved the Lord and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Jeffersontown, Kentucky.After graduating from high school, Warren attended college, where he studied Criminal Justice. He went on to serve his country as a member of the Air Force and Army for twenty years. After Warren retired from the Army, he enjoyed working for the prison system in Sugar Land, Texas.Warren loved to bowl and won many trophies playing the game. He also enjoyed traveling and the beauty of the outdoors.The Angel of the Lord came for Warren on June 21, 2020. His kindness and laughter will always be remembered.Warren was preceded in death by his parents, son and sister.He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Wilma Jean Jones; his children, Jermaine Lamont Jones, Miquell Penquite and Beverly Jones; his brother, Roger Jones; and a host of other family and friends.
