Funeral services were held Saturday, February 6 at 2:30 PM in the Nain Lutheran Church at Newell, Iowa. Rev. G. W. Reinmuth officiated. Interment was in the Newell Cemetery, Newell, Iowa, with the Baak Funeral Home in charge.

Stanley Eskesen, son of Soren and Katrina Eskeson, was born on October 29, 1902 near Palmer, Iowa and passed away at Phoenix, Arizona January 30, 1960 having reached the age of 57 years, 3 months and 1 day. For some 25 years he made his home with his parents caring for them in their declining years. They lived on a farm near Newell. Mr. Eskesen was a member of the local Nain Lutheran Church. About 22 years ago he moved with his mother to Phoenix, Arizona where he continued to reside till the time of his death. His father passed away in 1926 and his mother in 1946. He is survived by a foster brother, James Johnson of Rockwell City and several cousins incuding, Mr. Nels Kaiser of Pocohontas, Services were held for Mr. Eskesen at Memory Chapel, A. L. Moore and Sons in Phoenix, Arizona on February 1, 1960.
