Funeral services were held on November 21st at the Moore Memorial Methodist Church for Mrs. Betty Wadsworth Arnn, whose death occurred on November 20 at the Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Rev. George Curtis and Rev. Leslie Nabors officiated with burial in Oakwood Cemetery under direction of Lee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arnn, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John E. Wadsworth was a member of a prominent pioneer family long identified with the development of Winona where she was born and spent her lifetime. Before her health failed, she was active in the Methodist Church being a member of the choir for many years and the Woman's Society of Christian Service. She was also a member of the Woman's Club and other community organizations.
She leaves her grandson, Ed Forsythe, of this city and a host of other relatives.
Pallbearers were Clyde Dotson, Bob Chisholm, Buddy Flowers, Buddy Shelton, Dr. I. J. Benson and Tommy Gray.
