OGDEN – Katrina Mellien West came into this world on Friday the 13th of November 2005, to the loving arms of her mother, Kelli West with as much speed and wonder as the hurricane with whom she shares a name. She left us just as suddenly on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, leaving a deeply felt wake among all who knew her. Katrina is survived by her mother, Kelli West; grandmother, Mellien West; aunts, Jamie, Logan, and Cossette; uncles, Jack and Alex; friend, Bobby and babysitter, Misty Harrelson. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Delwin West and Michael Rice. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 12 Noon at the Brigham City First Ward Chapel, 506 South 200 East. Family will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah and on Friday from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Deweyville City Cemetery.
