Mrs. Melisa H. Bankston, 71, of 6154 St. Moritz, mother of Dallas automobile dealer W. O. Bankston and a Dallas resident for 34 years, died here Tuesday.
Mrs. Bankston, a native of Winters, Runnels County, was a credit manager at W. O. Bankston Oldsmobile Co. at the time of her death. She was a member of NorthPark United Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She belonged to the Business and Professional Women's Club.
Other survivors include five brothers, three sisters, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sparkman-Hillcrest Northwest Highway Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private.
