Bernie was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. On Thursday; March 14, 1957, Bernie married Wanda Bea Buck in Unionville; Putnam County, Missouri and of this marriage, two daughters were born. Bernie Roscoe Grover, age: 73, passed away on Monday; September 26, 1983 at the Veterans Hospital in Marshalltown; Marshall County, Iowa where he had been employed for the past 20 years. Those left to mourn his passing are: His wife: Wanda Bea (Buck) Grover, his two daughters and his two grandchildren, all of Marshalltown, Iowa. His two brothers: Otto Grover of Yucaipa; San Bernardino County, California and Alvin Rogers of Cedar Falls; Black Hawk County, Iowa. Also his two sisters: Ann Greer of: Phoenix; Maricopa County, Arizona and Geraldine Brown of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Funeral Services will begin at: 10:30 a.m. on Friday; September 30, 1983 at the Estell-Perrin Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Final destination will be at the Iowa Veterans Home Cemetery, also in Marshalltown, Iowa.
