Charlotte Harris Cannon, age 75, of Henrietta, NC passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills while being surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 11, 1944, in Erwin, TN; daughter of the late Jack Howard Harris (1921–2008) and Louise Harris (1921–2011); wife of the late Kenneth Eugene Cannon (1932–2003).

Worked at Cone Mills, Henrietta Plant, for many years and was a past member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ellenboro. Her life's passion was her family. She loved every moment she spent caring for them.

Survivors include her daughters, Jackie Ayers Kelly (Michael), Penny Ayers Webb (Jerry), and Barbara Ayers Shytle (Craig); son, Bobby Ayers (Chrisi Curry); sister, Donna Morefield (Richard); six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Also preceded in death by her brothers, Hubert Howard Harris (1942–2019) and Richard D Harris (1946–2012); and sister, Nancy Lou Harris Dover (1952-2017).

The funeral service held at 3:00 pm, Monday, July 13, 2020, at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donald Dover officiating; interment in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

The family received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.

Memorials were made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Forest City, NC.
