Age at death was about 57 died from the affects of a bee sting. The sources are the Post Register on the 31st of August page 1, Rexburg Current on the 27th of August page 1∼IN THE GEM STATE

Ben Moon, of Parker, was stung behind the ear by a bee and died within ten minutes. He was one of the first settlers in the valley.
