Services for Guy H. Lossing, 84, Tuscon, Arizona, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Ruby United Methodist Church. The Rev. Darrell Tallman will officiate. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.

Mr. Lossing died Firday, February 5, 1982 in Mesa General Hospital, Mesa, Arizona. He is a former area resident. He moved to Arizona in 1978.

He was born February 8, 1897 in Fargo. His wife, Sylvia G. LaForest, died October 29, 1978.

Mr. Lossing worked at Chrysler Corporation, Marysville, until his retirement almost twenty years ago. He owned and operated a farm on Imlay City Road. In the 1940's, he and his wife owned and operated a grocery store for ten years in what was known as Abbottsford. He was a member of the Ruby United Methodist Church for almost fifty years and was a former superintendent of the Sunday school.

He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Ed (Geraldine) Edson, Anacortes, Washington and Mesa, Mrs. Leonard (Virginia) Fanger, Lake City and Mesa, and a son: Marvin G., Tuscon; five grandchildren and five great-children.
