Chancey Seeley, 83, died Tuesday evening at the Hannah home in Bates following a brief illness. Mr, Seeley was born in Madina,Ohio, May 6th, 1883 and came to Grand Traverse county July 10th, 1867 settling at Williamsburg. He was married to Harriet Seeley, on June 4th, 1901. Two children were born to this union, a son, Damon, of Williamsburg and a daughter Mrs, Alta Gray of Bates. in 1945 Mr. Seeley located at the Hannah home, residing with his daughter. Surviving besides the two children are two brothers, George W. Seeley of Hanford Calif., and Leman Seeley of Grand Rapids. The body will remain at the Hannah home until Saturday afternoon when funeral services will be held at the Williamsburg Methodist church at two-thirty, with the Rev. Mr. Slack of Northport offlciating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:30 to 2:30. Burial will be made in the Williamsburg cemetery.
